Star Wars Filming Avoids Clashing With Geordie Shore During Filming In Iceland

It appears Iceland was the place to be last week when filming for Star Wars and Geordie Shore both reportedly took place last week.

With the two productions worlds apart, The Sun has reported on how they managed to avoid clashing when they both filmed in Reykjavik.

It is thought that the production team working on Star Wars were notified of the filming taking place for Geordie Shore who reportedly ventured out in the evening to sample the city's night life.

Meanwhile, the Star Wars crew kept their filming schedule in the daytime.

Speaking of Star Wars, there has been a lot of excitement surrounding the revalation of the cast members, including Mark Hamill who has praised the cast who are coming together for Star Wars Episode VII.

Tweeting his excitement when the cast got together for a table read in the UK, the actor who will be returning to his role as Luke Skywalker posted:

"UK table read- I was knocked out by the diverse & extraordinarily talented new cast members," he wrote. "WOW they're good! The saga is in superb hands".

Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are back alongside Hamill as are Kenny Baker, Anthony Daniels and Peter Mayhew who will be stepping back into their roles as R2-D2, C3-Po and Chewbacca.
