Noel Edmonds serves coffee at community park cafe
The retired gameshow host now lives in New Zealand but made a surprise visit to Frome, Somerset.
Noel Edmonds surprised customers at a park cafe in Somerset by doing a shift working behind the counter.
The former Deal or No Deal presenter - who now lives in New Zealand where he owns his own cafe - visited the Victoria Park community cafe in Frome and after chatting to staff agreed to take a turn serving coffee.
Cafe staff member Sherry Anne Downes told Somerset Live: “Noel certainly caused quite a stir. He was in the park with family and popped in for a cappuccino.
“Initially I asked him if I could take a photo and then I cheekily asked whether he wanted to get behind the counter and serve some customers. He happily obliged and did about 20 minutes and people just loved it - he was an angel.
“Noel loved the idea of our community cafe as he owns one in New Zealand. He talked to us about our cafe as well as talking about his own business.”

The 74-year-old Noel's House Party star and his wife Liz Davies moved to New Zealand in 2019, where he now owns the Dunbar Estate at Ngatimoti on the banks of the Motueka River, which includes a cafe.
The TV presenter - who took part in I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2018 - is reported to be in the UK to visit his daughter Alice, who is about to have a baby.
Staff at the Somerset cafe revealed he was wearing odd shoes - a blue loafer on one foot and a brown boot on the other.
Downers said: “When we asked him about it he said he had started off wearing odd socks and then took it further to wear odd shoes. He wanted to start a new trend and it’s something that has apparently been picked up by others in New Zealand.”
Edmonds has four daughters with his first wife, Gillian Slater.
He met his third wife, Davies, when she was working as a make-up artist on gameshow Deal Or No Deal. They married in 2009.
Edmonds rose to fame presenting children's show Swap Shop and then Top Of The Pops.
Between 1991 and 1999 he was the host of popular family Saturday night entertainment show Noel's House Party.
He hosted Deal Or No Deal on Channel 4 from 2005 to 2016.
