Well, he’s launching the world’s first radio station for pets.

Oookay.

But just in case you’re wondering, Noel definitely hasn’t lost the plot, alright?

Speaking to MailOnline, the former House Party host defiantly said: ““What plot? Someone accused me of having ‘gone off the rails’ but I’ve never been on them hence the success and happiness I enjoy on a daily basis.

“I always have a giggle,” he continued. “Too many people take the living experience too seriously. What’s the point of life if we can’t be positive, have fun and make the world a better place?”

The 67-year-old star’s pet callback service sparked an avalanche of mickey-taking, as well as a frankly bonkers appearance on the Jeremy Vine show in which he did a live motivational phone call with a cat.

But Noel’s having the last laugh – the service was inundated with over 2000 requests within 24 hours of its launch. That’s a lot of happy hamsters and budgerigars.

“We have now decided to bring forward our plans to launch the world’s first radio station exclusively for animals – Positively Pets – and hope to be on-air by Christmas,” Noel continued

“I’m inviting pet lovers to send in their audio messages for their loved ones and we will broadcast them plus music requests and “special relaxing tones” for pets left at home alone.”
