The chain, which also has sites in Leeds, Birmingham, and Leicester, has more than 20 cats inside for customers to pet and play with. Even with these animals roaming about, the café proudly holds a food standard rating of five, showing how serious cleanliness and hygiene is taken here.

It costs £8 per adult and £6 per child to enter so that the high standards of animal welfare can be maintained. The review site said: “The café boasts expansive spaces and an abundance of kitty toys to ensure a playful environment for their furry friends.

"However, human guests are far from overlooked. Each table has comfortable sofas and armchairs, creating an atmosphere that maximises your experience and relaxation.”

200 Degrees Coffee Shop

With several venues in Nottingham, including in Carrington Street and Milton Street in the city centre, and in West Bridgford, the independent chain has a focus on ethical sourcing, with their coffee beans procured from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. The café offers an extensive expresso-based menu with highly skilled baristas working to ensure the highest quality of drinks are served to customers.

Here you can also stop for food making it a perfect destination. The review site said: “The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, with Wi-Fi for those seeking a cosy workplace spot.

"Beyond exceptional coffee, 200 Degrees Coffee Shop caters to diverse tastes with a delectable range of vegan and gluten-free sandwiches, salads, cakes, and pastries. Café Sobar

This renowned establishment offers a twist to many venues in the city, with the venue deciding against selling alcohol. In doing so, the cafe prides itself on being the perfect location for all with customers feeling no pressure to consume an alcoholic beverage.

As well as coffees, teas and milkshakes, the cafe also has many options for food including a range of breakfasts, cakes, wraps and soups.
