Get ready, as we're officially heading back to the masseria for round two of I Kissed a Boy. Yep, that's right the BBC has just confirmed we'll be getting a second season of the UK's first queer dating reality show.
Similar to their female counterpart series I Kissed a Girl, (which is currently airing on BBC Three), I Kissed a Boy sees a group of queer men head to a stunning Italian masseria, where they'll spend their summer trying to form and build romantic connections.

When was I Kissed a Boy season 2 confirmed?
On 21st May 2024, the BBC confirmed I Kissed a Boy would be returning for a second season, following its first season which aired in May 2023.
Nasfim Haque, Head of Content for BBC Three, said of the news; “I am thrilled to have this innovative, ground-breaking format return to BBC Three. I Kissed A Boy’s success is testament to the channel’s unwavering dedication to producing content that both entertains and educates”.
Who is hosting I Kissed a Boy?
As well as confirming the series will be returning, the BBC also confirmed Dannii Minogue, who hosted season one, and also I Kissed a Girl, will be back to head up the dating reality show.
Dannii said of the announcement, "I am so excited that I’ll be back in Italy to play cupid. I can’t wait to meet the next cast when the Masseria doors open... There are so many diverse and important stories yet to tell. And be sure that I’ll have the party started for a wonderful summer of love."
And also confirmed to return is Strictly's Layton Williams as the voiceover of the series. For I Kissed a Girl, TikToker Charlie Marlowe took on the job.
When can we expect to see the series on TV?
Ok, as the series has literally just been announced it's going to be a while before it'll grace our TV screens unfortunately.
The first series was filmed at the end of summer of 2022, before appearing on screens in May 2023. And I Kissed a Girl also followed a similar pattern when airing in May 2024.
So given this timeline we reckon we'll be looking at a May 2025 release for the next set of boys heading to the masseria.
