Okehampton burglars climbed through lounge window before stealing laptop and cash

Burglars climbed through the lounge window of a home in Okehampton and stole a laptop and cash. Devon and Cornwall Police said the burglary took place last Monday, June 3.

The offenders broke into the property in Station Road between 7.30am and 9.30am. Investigating officers are now appealing for information from the public.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a home in Okehampton. Offenders broke into the property in Station Road through a lounge window between 7.30am and 9.30am on Monday 3 June.

"They escaped with a laptop and an amount of cash. Officers are investigating the incident and asking for anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in Station Road around the time of the offence to contact them.

"They would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured the incident on CCTV or vehicle dashcam. Please contact police online or by telephone on 101, quoting crime reference 50240134667."
