Olivia Wilde’s Son Otis Is Having A Beyonce Themed Party For His Second Birthday

It might have been Olivia Wilde’s birthday this week but she appears to be much more excited about her son Otis’ upcoming birthday in April.

During an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 32-year-old actress revealed that her son’s upcoming party will be Beyoncé themed (video above).

She started the segment by explaining how her priorities since becoming a mother.

“I think once you have a kid, their birthdays are so much more fun to think about. So all I’m thinking about is Otis’ birthday next month, which is number 2, which is a lot more exciting than 32,” she said.

The Vinyl star shared the details of the birthday party that she and fiancé Jason Sudeikis are planning to throw for Otis next month.

“It’s going to be a Beyonce listening party, appreciation, dance off,” she excitedly revealed.

Wilde admitted that her toddler is Crazy In Love with the global superstar but she approves, being a fan herself.

She told Ellen: “His love for Beyoncé has really hit a fever pitch and I approve, of course, but it’s intense.”

Otis first discovered the singer on his mother’s iPad aboard a flight when, without any other options, she was forced to swap out Barney for Beyoncé – and apparently the singer had him at ‘Hello’.

“You know how a lot of Mom’s have on their iPads, like a kids show like an appropriate for kids program like an Elmo and such?” she said.

“I didn’t and we were on an airplane and I needed - as many of you know - a distraction tool immediately and all I had was all of Beyonce’s videos from her last album. And so I just put those on for him.”

Funnily enough, the youngster zoned in on the Yonce music video, which Wilde described as “the most sexually explicit video ever made.”

The one-year-old has even developed his own nickname ‘Beyoncé boobies’ for the chart-topper – catchy, eh?

“From that point on he called her ‘Beyoncé boobies’, which I think is great,” she said laughing. “Because most people — if you’re gonna call her — you call her like ‘Beyoncé booty,’ ”she explained.

Later on, DeGeneres surprised her guest by supplying her with a set of Beyoncé-themed party favours including cups, plates, hates and balloon streamers.
