The One Show's Alex Jones flooded with messages as she introduces 'new little babies'

Alex Jones has been flooded with messages after she introduced fans to her 'new little babies'. The One Show host has been keeping her social media followers updated after preparing for a bunch of eggs to hatch.

Alex had taken to her Instagram Stories, where she shared a photo of an incubator containing a series of eggs, and two newly-hatched baby birds. The mum-of-three captioned the image: "Just heard from the children that we have our first arrivals!"

The Welsh presenter had hosted BBC's The One Show alongside Jermaine Jenas but in another Instagram Story post, Alex expressed her excitement knowing that she was going to be welcomed by the chicks when she got home.

Now, in a video post shared to her feed, Alex shared a video of her new arrivals. Over the top of the clip, Alex said: "Here they are. My new little babies." She continued: "I’ve been glued to the spot since I got home from work. I can’t believe how cute they are."

Explaining how tired the small ones are, Alex revealed they are "so strong" after only being born a few hours prior. She added: "Crossing fingers now for egg five and three. Gosh, I love them."

She also typed in the caption of the post: "The best welcome home from work," alongside a yellow heart emojis. And the comments quickly came flooding in.
