Take Me Out will have one woman choose between 30 men to celebrate 10th anniversary
Take Me Out is turning the tables for its 10th anniversary.
The ITV dating show has so far subsisted on a format which sees 30 women gathered together, each with a light in front of them, as a series of men descend the "love lift"; the women can register their interest by keeping their light on, or drop out of the running entirely by switching their light off.
The man then chooses between the interested parties, with the final pairing then being whisked away for a date on the Isle of Fernandos. Sometimes, however, the man will be left without a single woman with her light switched on, having to retreat back home, with nothing but a wounded ego.
After 10 years, it seems the show is now keen to turn the tables, with one woman now facing a panel of 30 men, hoping to whittle them down to the perfect date; specifically, "30 of Paddy's favourite boys", bringing back favourite contestants for the special episode airing on Saturday.
Why not 30 boys, you ask? Well… we listened and have decided to bring back 30 of Paddy's favourite boys next Saturday to celebrate 10 series of #TakeMeOut pic.twitter.com/WsAAo5MlDM

The new series will also see host Paddy McGuinness catch up with couples who met on the show, with another special episode featuring women over 50.
