Oscars 2018: Mary J Blige, Sufjan Stevens, Common and more to perform

The musical acts for the 2018 Oscars have been announced and include performances by Mary J Blige, Miguel, Common and Sufjan Stevens.

Oscars producers Michael DeLuca and Jennifer Todd delivered the news on Friday saying, “We’re excited to have these talented artists showcase the powerful contribution music makes to filmmaking. It’s a privilege to welcome them to the 90th Oscars stage.”

During the evening, Miguel will perform Coco's "Remember Me" alongside Gael García Bernal and Natalia LaFourcade.

In addition to her "Best Supporting Actress" nomination, Mary J Blige will sing her song from Mudbound "Mighty River."

Blige is the first person to receive an award nomination for a performance and Original Song in the same year.

Together, Common and Andra Day will play "Stand Up for Something" from Marshall.

In the past, the rapper won an Oscar with John Legend for the track "Glory" from Selma.

Joining the other performers, Keala Settle will sing "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman, while Sufjan Stevens will take on "Mystery of Love" from Call Me By Your Name.

The 2018 Oscars ceremony will happen on Sunday, March 4 at Hollywood, CA's Dolby Theatre and will be hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel.

The awards show will air on ABC at 8pm EST.
