Outnumbered's Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner are now a real-life couple
Outnumbered’s on-screen couple Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner are now dating in real-life.
The couple who have been married on the show for years have now confirmed they’re in a relationship and are ‘very happy’ together.
Dennis, 56, confirmed that he and Skinner, 53, were romantically linked outside his London home, saying: ‘I am very, very happy, we are so very happy… It’s nice and yes, it’s so lovely.’
Both have been split up from their previous partners since 2015 and have apparently been dating since last year, having chosen only to tell close family, friends, and colleagues as they opted to keep the news relatively low key.
A source who’d previously spoken to the Sun said it was ‘the most wonderful love story’ and fans of the show were somewhat happy, too.
One described it as ‘may be the best news I hear all year’.

Dennis was married for 19 years to Kate Abbot-Anderson and have two children, Freddie, 21, and Meg, 19.
Skinner separated from TV director Charles Palmer after 16 years of marriage, where the couple have two teenage sons William, 19, and Henry, 16.
The show aired on BBC One, running from 2007 to 2014, spanning five series. Dennis and Skinner play the parents of three kids that, as per the semi-improvised comedy’s title, leaves them outnumbered in the family home.
