Over 60,000 Fans Pack Budapest Stadium for Hungary's Euro 2020 Opener

Over 60,000 people watched Hungary take on Portugal at the Puskas Arena in Budapest in the teams’ opening Euro 2020 group match on June 15.

The Puskas Arena was the only one of 11 Euro 2020 host stadiums aiming for full capacity, Uefa said. All others would range from 22-50 percent capacity.

UEFA guidelines said all fans needed a negative COVID test, or proof of full vaccination, to get a “COVID-19 wristband” that would allow entry to the stadium.
