Owner 'utterly heartbroken' as chihuahua attacked and killed by three dogs in Launceston
A woman has been left devastated after her chihuahua was set upon and killed by dogs at her home in Cornwall. Bethy Bloye, from Launceston, has issued an urgent plea for owners of aggressive dogs to keep them on a lead or wearing a muzzle.
She said her "poor darling", a tiny, cream chihuahua, was killed by three dogs on Sunday morning (May 12). She said her beloved pet "would never hurt a fly" and "suffered a terrible death".
Writing of the incident, which she told CornwallLive happened on the courtyard of her home, she said: "This isn’t a sympathy post but it’s a post to make people aware. Please if you have a dog who is aggressive to other dogs please keep them on a lead or at least a muzzle.

She did not want to give a description of the dogs or the owners but has urged anyone who knows their dog may act in aggression to take action to prevent similar attacks happening.
