It’s the luxury car marque associated with Inspector Morse and British Prime Ministers – but Jaguar drivers might actually be Britain’s worst.

A new survey found that Jaguar owners admitted to several unforgivable crimes behind the wheel – such as speeding and jumping red lights.

In a survey conducted by Nation.co.uk, 85% of Jag owners admitted to speeding, 71% admitted that they often failed to indicate, and 50% said they jumped traffic lights.

At the other end of the scale, the least-naughty drivers on Britain’s roads are Skoda, Volvo and Nissan owners.

Overall, 59% of drivers admitted to speeding – with 14% admitting to doing so every single day.

James Kelly, Marketing Manager at National.co.uk commented: “It’s shocking to see just how many people potentially drive dangerously.

“80 per cent of drivers we surveyed admitted to committing at least one of these offences, whether that be speeding or littering.

“It’s crucial to abide by the laws of the road, even if your car is in perfect working order, committing driving offences puts you and other road users in danger.”

The survey also found that people from Birmingham were the worst drivers; where half of the respondents admitted to failing to indicate and over a third undertaking.

Birmingham was followed by those in Swansea, Gloucester and London.fer our most sincere condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.”
