One of Scotland's most exciting food and drink festivals returns to Paisley this weekend with plenty of free family fun on offer.

The Paisley Food and Drink Festival will return to the town on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27 promising some of the top Scottish street food traders and plenty of live entertainment.

Taking place at Abbey Close and Bridge Street, the event is free-to-attend, with more than 35 traders from across Scotland appearing.

Running from 4pm until 10pm on Friday and 12pm until 9pm on Saturday, the organisers say there will be plenty of free family fun on offer.

Food vendors set to appear include the likes of Parducci ice cream, StrEAT Scullery, Durty Dogs, Scozzese Wood Fired Pizza, Loop & Scoop and Fries Guys.

While the drinks will be supplied by the likes of Paisley Drinks Co., local bar The Keg, family-run brewery Two Towns Down and mobile bar FizzBuzz.

For live entertainment, there will be bands, singers, DJs and performances from the Paisley Rock Choir.

Kids will be able to enjoy free bouncy castles and inflatables, face painting, balloon modelling, theatre performances and even pizza-making classes.
