Paulina Poriskova, 58, goes nude for birthday post
Former supermodel Paulina Porizkova celebrated her 58th birthday on April 9 by sharing a body-positive nude photo on Instagram the following day.
In the photo, the star who is most known for her appearance in Car’s video Drive, lies in bed, grinning and holding a blue stuffed animal, with her arm and bed sheets partially covering her body.
She captioned the post: "I begin my 58th year with nothing but sunshine and a smile," expressing gratitude for her journey and optimism for the future.
Paulina included hashtags: "Thisis50," "Nofilter," and "GreyPride," celebrating her natural hair color and embracing her age.
She humorously compared herself to Jennifer Lopez and Betty White in another hashtag.
Fans flooded the comments with birthday wishes and appreciation for the model's support of body positivity.
One Instagram user praised Paulina's wit, compassion, and vulnerability, while another shared that they were turning 49 and felt inspired by the post. Others complimented the model, calling her: "radiant."

This bold post follows Paulina's response to "naysayers" who criticized another revealing photo she shared on March 6.
In that photo, she wore a lacy black bra and underwear, an oversized red cardigan, and tall black boots, playfully embracing her "grandma" status.
While many fans applauded the Czech-born model, some questioned if she was promoting unrealistic standards for aging women.
Addressing the criticism, Paulina highlighted her aim to represent older women as still sexy, viable, and visible.
She acknowledged that she couldn't represent all women her age but emphasized the beauty in individual uniqueness. She encouraged fans to embrace self-love instead of comparing themselves to others or engaging in body shaming.
She added: "We can all only walk in our own bare feet, making our own unique imprints in the sand".
Paulina addresses aging and beauty standards in her memoirs No Filter: The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful where she writes: “All models were and still are called girls. Regardless of age. Why are there no women in modeling?"
