PennDOT inspects two bridges in Northumberland County

Apr. 16—NORTHUMBERLAND — Motorists are advised that bridge inspections were conducted on Tuesday on the bridges that carry Route 405 (Bridge Avenue) over the North Branch Susquehanna River in Upper Augusta Township and Northumberland Borough, Northumberland County.

A Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew on Tuesday performed bridge inspections on the Joseph Priestley Bridge and Edison Bridge.

Work was done between Shikellamy Avenue in Upper Augusta Township and Priestley Avenue in Northumberland Borough.
