Pete Wicks faces 'second stage storming' on Staying Relevant tour

Pete Wicks has revealed a man stormed the stage during the Plymouth show on his and Sam Thompson's Staying Relevant tour.

During their shared podcast Staying Relevant, the reality TV stars detailed the events of their final two live show tour stops in Plymouth and Dublin.

"A man stormed the stage in Plymouth at the end," Pete began. "He looked very angry, he ran towards me from one side of the stage to the other, and at that point, I started looking around for Beardy but more so Ben the carpenter because he saved me the first time and he is my Kevin Costner," Pete joked, referring to The Bodyguard. "My life was flashing before my eyes. I thought, 'This could be it. This could be the end.'"

The incident marked the second time the stage had been breached by audience members. Around 50 guests stormed the stage during their live show in Manchester and Pete had to be rescued from the crowd by their carpenter Ben.

The Only Way Is Essex star revealed that security "grabbed" the stage invader during the Plymouth show.

"He ran - and I'm not even joking - with purpose, but with a very angry face. And I didn't know what I'd done, I thought maybe he hadn't taken some of the jokes too well," Pete continued. "As he got closer, he started screaming incoherently and I couldn't quite work out what he was saying. But as he got to me, he was grabbed by security and dragged away - and all he wanted to know was where the afterparty was."

The TV personality concluded, "So, yeah, we had a second stage storming. But it was just by one happy man with an angry face."
