Peter Andre flooded with messages to gushing post with newborn after baby name update

Peter Andrew has been flooded with messages as he shared a gushing post on social media in which he could be seen doting on his newborn daughter. The singer, actor and presenter welcomed his fifth child into the world earlier this month.

Peter and his wife Emily shared the first pictures of their baby girl at "just minutes old" on social media on April 2. "We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family," the 51-year-old said on Instagram. "Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday, April 2 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy."

He went on to say that the family's new bundle of joy had been “spoilt with cuddles” from his seven-year-old son, Theo, and daughter, Amelia, 10, whom he shares with Emily, and 18-year-old son Junior and daughter Princess, 16 – whom he shares with his ex-wife, Katie Price.

But Peter has since been honest about the struggle they have faced picking a name for their bundle of joy. But the Mysterious Girl hitmaker has now revealed the sweet nickname they have given their little girl.

In an adorable new video, the proud dad-of-five said that while he and Emily have yet to choose the 'real name' for their little one, they have given her a cute nickname instead while Emily decides on the perfect moniker after his said his wife choosing was the 'only fair' way.

Alongside the video of Peter cuddling his baby girl, he wrote to his fans and followers: "The love I have for our baby is one thing. The love I have for Emily is another love altogether. What an incredible mum she is and what a truly beautiful gift she has given us. We all love bubba so much. And she STILL has no name."

While he shared the video alongside Ed Sheeran's emotional track 'Photograph', he could be seen speaking in the clip and so he then added in the caption of his post: "Like I say at the end 'I’m a dab hand at this'………maybe."

And his fans and followers were quick to respond, with many suggesting names for the new parents. @dollygirl8 said: "I think Athea is a beautiful name, it’s a mixture of Amelia and Theo. Just a suggestion. Congratulations to all of you." @ellyjw1 commented: "Aww that is so beautiful your baby girl is gorgeous!!! You both are wonderful parents! How about call your baby girl name Ruby."
