Singer and reality TV star Peter Andre has taken to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to his daughter Princess on her birthday - and jokingly called a “diva”. The 51-year-old recently welcomed a new daughter with wife Dr Emily MacDonagh, his fifth child.

Peter shared a montage of pictures and videos of Princess through the years, including several snaps of himself posing with the teen. The video was watermarked with the words ‘Happy birthday, I love you.’ And, in the accompanying caption, the dad went into more detail.

He penned: “Happy 17th birthday to my beautiful, kind, funny, loving daughter. Your diva moments are quite something but I guess it only makes me love you more. Thank you for being you Bista. I love you to the moon and back.” For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter.

In the comments Peter’s followers shared their own well-wishes for Princess, whose mum is Peter’s ex-wife Katie Price. “Omg I would love for my dad to want to have coffee together in the garden when I woke up,” wrote one person – to which Peter replied: “She still doesn’t."

A second said: “Aww now these are real memories with father and daughter… melts my heart.” And a third echoed: “A very lucky girl, not because of her fame & fortune, but how you are a father to her. So much love and care.”

Peter also shares son Junior, 19, with Katie. Peter’s eldest son is following in his dad’s footsteps with a music career of his own.

The Mysterious Girl singer has three children with wife Emily – Daughter Amelia, son Theo, and baby Arabella. Peter announced the birth of Arabella Rose on April 2 this year, writing: “We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.” Prior to announcing her birth he joked in an interview with WalesOnline that he liked the Welsh name Seren — read more about that here.
