Peter Andre and his wife Emily have shared the sweet name of their new baby girl, Arabella Rose Andrea, after keeping fans in suspense for weeks. The couple, who are now parents to three children, had previously turned to their social media followers for name suggestions following the birth.

The joyous arrival was first reported earlier this month, with Peter, aged 51, and Emily, aged 34, announcing the birth of their third child together. The Mirror received the exclusive announcement, and Emily also took to Instagram to share the news that she gave birth on Tuesday 2nd April.

Now they have decided on a name for their bundle of joy. Emily delighted her followers by posting an adorable snapshot of little Arabella Rose, along with the caption: "It's taken a while but after lots of deliberation we've finally decided. Arabella Rose Andrea. Thank you to the lovely Sarah Deakin @curation_studio for the beautiful photos!"

The couple's fans were quick to express their happiness, with comments pouring in such as: "Beautiful name congratulations.", reports the Mirror. Others joined in the celebration, saying: "Huge congratulations, she's going to be so loved and spoilt, surrounded by such a loving family."

Another fan added: "Gorgeous! What a lucky girl she is.." The name Arabella, bestowed on Peter and Emily's daughter, translates to "invokable" or "prayerful", it can also signify "loving" or "lovable". Originating from the Latin term "orabilis", it is often used as an alternate for Annabelle.

When combined with her charming floral middle name Rose and Greek-influenced second middle name Andrea - representing Peter's heritage and symbolising a "warrior" or "protector" - it culminates into a stunning moniker. While waiting for the arrival of his youngest child, Peter confessed that choosing a suitable nickname was proving a challenge as the legal deadline fast approached. The 'Mysterious Girl' icon shared on 23 April that he and Emily were struggling to agree on their daughter's name.

Hinting that Emily would have the final say, Peter stated: "We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy. Any time Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside. Since Emily and I agreed for her to be the one to choose, it seems to have slowed down the process even more."

Talking to OK!, he explained further: "We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy. Any time Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside. Since Emily and I agreed for her to be the one to choose, it seems to have slowed down the process even more,".

He went on to respect Emily's recovery phase: "She is recovering after all, so I totally get it. We have less than four weeks left before we have to register her. I took our baby for a walk in her pram for the first time to drop Millie and Theo at school. It's beautiful to do these things all over again."

Peter and his wife, Emily, shared photos of themselves cradling the newborn in hospital. They said in a joint post that they were feeling "overwhelmed" by the new arrival.

"Just minutes old......We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family. Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy," Peter wrote.

The couple are already parents to children Amelia, 10, and Theo, seven. The family also includes Peter's kids Junior Andre, 18, and Princess Andre, 16. Peter added in the announcement post: "Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn't be happier."

Taking the opportunity to express gratitude, he concluded: "Thanks to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible. And Emily's parents, whom I adore. You have both been incredible. I'm so happy. Just off to hold her. Thanks everyone for reading."

Peter Andre had taken to social media to ask for a bit of "help" from his fans, sharing that he and pregnant wife Emily are yet to decide on a name for their unborn baby. In the post's caption, he wrote: "Only thing is.... She has no name yet. Help! " The request was met with several suggestions from his followers.

Among the wide range of suggestions were names like Sophia, Nell, Aria, Willow, Daisy, Maria and Caitlyn, as well as Dylan, Melissa, Ola and Eva.

The couple, who tied the knot back in 2015, happily announced last year that they were set to welcome another little one into their family. They took to their account to share an adorable snap featuring ultrasound pictures, along with the joyful tidings: "We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024. The kids are so excited. So are we."

Throughout Emily's pregnancy journey, the couple continued to keep their followers in the loop. Just last month, Peter offered another update in his column for OK! magazine, hinting that Emily could go into labour at any moment.

He disclosed: "Emily and I are on total tenterhooks now that the baby is due any day. We thought it was going to happen last week when she seemed to be having contractions. It ended up being Braxton Hicks [and she] takes it all in her stride."
