Peter Andre's wife reveals booze ban as secret to their strong marriage

Peter Andre’s wife-of-three-years, Emily MacDonagh, has opened up about what makes their marriage so solid.

The 29-year-old junior NHS doctor revealed to OK! Magazine that she believes the secret is a booze ban.

“Neither of us drinks alcohol. I think drinking can sometimes cause rows,” Emily said.

This comes just weeks after Andre’s ex-wife and mother of two of his children, Katie Price, was arrested for on suspicion of drink-driving.

Andre couldn’t speak more highly of his second wife, and admitted ‘our relationship gets better every day.’

“Emily saves lives at work. And then comes home and is amazing with the kids. Her work is so much more important than mine could ever be” Andre beamed.

The couple are parents to Theodore James and Amelia, and it was also revealed earlier this year that Andre’s other two children, Princess and Junior also live with them in their Sussex home.

Will they be adding to their brood? Quite possibly, confessed the Mysterious Girl singer.

“She said about four months ago that maybe we’ll have another child when Theo’s older,” he said.

While Princess and Junior are often photographed in the press, Andre and Emily have worked hard to keep Theo and Amelia out of the spotlight.

In an interview months prior with the same publication, Andre admitted he was trying to shield Princess and Junior from the drama surrounding their mother’s recent worrying behaviour.

“I’m dealing with everything that’s going on at the moment, but I think it’s very important to deal with these things privately and I’m doing so.

“Making sure my kids are protected and away from any negativity is my main priority,” he said.

Price has been battling the threat of bankruptcy in recent months, as well as embroiled in a cocaine scandal and her October arrest.
