Phillip Schofield makes shocking d**k slip-up live on This Morning
When it comes to on-air mishaps, This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are no strangers to gaffes.
During today’s 5 February show, the pair were innocuously presenting a segment of what’s coming up. However, then Phillip, 55, made a particularly unfortunate error in front of co-host Holly, 36, as well as their entire UK audience.
As a clip from the new Fifty Shades of Grey movie played, Phil started: ‘Get ready to dick out…’, before realising what had just come out of his mouth.
‘That might be your best yet!’ Holly said, as she struggled to keep her composure.
‘Oh man, it’s a Monday, at 25 to 11 already. I don’t do many of those!’
‘Get ready to dig out your duck tape…’ he corrected himself, but it was too late and the giggles has already begun.
The unintentional slip left Holly is hysterical laughter and in turn set off Phil off. Thankfully for them the laughter wasn’t as prolonged or uncontrollable as previous on-air moments, after often flippant comments are misconstrued as sexual innuendo.
This Morning won Best Daytime Programme the other week at the National Television Awards, where Bradley Walsh bizarrely crashed the stage acceptance speech, much to everyone’s bemusement and delight.
Congrats to @hollywills, @Schofe and the gang for #ThisMorning winning Best Daytime!
