Dan Baldwin, the husband of This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby is reported to have been at the Presidents Club event in mid-January.

According to the Sun, the TV producer, 41, was on the table seating for the event that was exposed for its sordid behaviour and exploitation of teenage girls. And while he isn’t accused of doing anything illegal, the paper says he was there, sitting beside Dragon Den’s Peter Jones and presenter Vernon Kay.

An investigation unveiled the treatment of hostesses at the men-only fundraiser, and instructed that they wear black underwear and revealing dresses to serve the star-studded guestlist.

The event, hosted by David Walliams who was blasted for attending, was made up of some of the most powerful and richest men in the country. Billionaires, government officials, and famous television faces were given seats at the event that took place at the Dorchester hotel, London.

According to the seating plan claim, Baldwin’s table was booked under the name ‘Residential Land’.

The paper’s source say the women were treated ‘like sex workers’ and told to wear tight skirts and high heels. It’s reported that the men attending were also able to freely proposition and grope the women, after a worker anonymously spoke to Good Morning Britain about the ordeal.

‘I experienced a rather bizarre event’ the woman said. ‘As the night went on, I started to notice this wasn’t normal. There was a lot of groping, there was a lot of girls sitting on their laps, men beckoning girls over to their tables to talk to them.’

Despite the allegations of attendance, it’s unclear whether every person named in the investigation was actually there. The Guardian also detailed table plans which, again, has only had some of the names confirmed for being there, while others have yet to comment on the matter.

Since the scandalous headlines, the Presidents Club have scrapped all future plans to host their annual event.
