PHOTO: Benedict Cumberbatch Goes Incognito: Is This The Worst Celebrity Disguise Ever?

Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch had a novel way of disguising his face from the paparazzi on a lunch trip with Fifty Shades Of Grey star Dakota Johnson.

Despite being seen heading into an eatery with the actress and another female pal, it appears the British actor who attended the Met Gala on Monday night, didn't want the shutterbugs to see him as he ate his food.

And to stop the paps from doing that, Benedict decided that it was a good idea to cover his entire face with a napkin and then slip on his sunglasses on top of it. At one point, he appeared to give a thumbs up the paps through his disguise.

However, the disguise soon came undone as the napkin he was using began to tear.

Meanwhile, Benedict's disguise aside, the actor is also a "lovely" kisser.

Having shared an on screen kiss with the actor during her appearance as Janine in this year's offering of Sherlock, actress Yasmine Akram recalled her smooch with the British actor when she made an appearance on Nick Grimshaw's BBC Three show, Sweat The Small Stuff.

In a clip taken from an episode that will be shown later this week, the Radio One DJ can be seen asking Yasmine about the kiss whilst showing a picture of the talked about smooch.

Asked if Benedict is a "good kisser", Yasmine can be heard saying: "yeah, lovely, yeah", gaining cheers from the audience.
