Piers Morgan has hit back at Little Mix after they laughed at a joke of BRITs host Jack Whitehall. The gag mocked Morgan’s appearance and most specifically – his weight.

Whitehall said to the girl group: “Piers Morgan. He didn’t like that picture where you stripped off naked which is weird because four chins and voluptuous breasts – it must have been like looking in the mirror.”

The girl group giggled at his words and Jade Thirlwall rolled her eyes as the comedian went on to ask them: “What would you say to that dusty wasteman?”

The Good Morning Britain host has called out their giggles, as he had received public backlash after criticising them for stripping naked to promote their single Strip.

An infuriated Morgan tweeted that he was “shocked and disappointed” to see Little Mix “LAUGH” as Whitehall “fat-shames” him.

And Whitehall was not free from Morgan’s wrath. He published a further tweet that accused Whitehall of being a “chinless little weed.”

The 53-year-old has a long history of igniting celebrity feuds. Just yesterday he appeared to have made amends with Ariana Grande, who had previously defended Little Mix over Morgan’s criticisms.

The pair discussed their interaction in a Beverly Hills restaurant over Twitter, and Grande said she had hopes to turn Morgan into a feminist yet.

Morgan went on to post a pouting selfie with the Thank u, next singer on his Instagram account and describes how they had drank cocktails and chatted for several hours and decided they ‘really like each other.’

Morgan is currently in Los Angeles preparing to cover the Oscars with his GMB co-host Susanna Reid.
