Pink ‘cringes’ at Christina Aguilera’s Whitney Houston tribute at AMAs 2017

Pink found herself an instant meme sensation following her reaction to Christina Aguilera’s Whitney Houston tribute at the American Music Awards.

The singer looked far from impressed by Aguilera’s performance, with viewers accusing her of ‘cringing’.

Aguilera took to the stage at the Microsoft Theatre to sing a medley of hits from the Bodyguard to mark the film’s 25th anniversary.

But as she attempted to hit Houston’s high notes on I Will Always Love You, Pink appeared to squirm.

Her facial expressions didn’t go unnoticed by viewers, with some claiming the reaction stemmed from the lengthy feud they were embroiled in over Lady Marmalade 15 years ago.

One tweeted: “Pink's reaction says it all. CRINGE. Tragic.”
