PJ Harvey is a cultural icon of the West Country, and the Dorset dame is coming for Glastonbury glory. Taking to the Pyramid Stage early on Friday (June 28), the poet, actor and composer will stun and delight fans.

From the stark originality of Down by the Water to the vivid, absorbing Sheela Na Gig, the innovation and originality of Polly Jean are a perfect fit for the magical Worthy Farm. Her latest albums show for her, the personal is still political, and she continues to challenge The Man.

From Brits to Mercurys to Ivor Novellos, the singer - who has collaborated with everyone from Nick Cave to Thom Yorke to Bjork - is bound to make England shake at Glasto this year.

When and where?

PJ Harvey will play on Friday, June 28 on the Pyramid Stage. The iconic stage has been at the centre of Glastonbury's celebrations for decades, and it's often cited by musicians as a dream to play there.

Current listings say that PJ will be on between 6pm – 7pm - taking to the stage after Paul Heaton - ex of The Beautiful South and The Housemartins, among others - and warming up the crowd for LCD Soundsystem.

The BBC will this year show the five main stages across iPlayer, as well as on BBC One and Two at various points of the weekend. On iPlayer, fans can find continuous live streams from the Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Park and Woodsies stages.
