Another week of hearings at Plymouth Magistrates' Court have revealed a plethora of people who have not just fallen foul of the law by chance, or bad decisions, but also those who have actively caused others harm, be it physical, emotional or mental harm.

One such was a man who spent nearly three months stalking a woman, sending her numerous messages and making calls to her which the court heard "intended distress against vulnerable person and [the] behaviour took place over prolonged period involving large volume of contact and messages from a large number of different mobile phones".

Meanwhile, once again the drug drivers have outpaced the drink drivers, with three of those who appeared at court each being sentenced for using either cannabis or cocaine - or in one case, both.
