Plymouth Pride returns this weekend - all you need to know

Plymouth Pride is back this weekend (June 22-23) and it promises to bring a riot of colour and fun. The annual event will be held at Central Park this year, and the Pride March is the other big highlight for those who celebrate.

Thousands of people are expected to take part on Saturday (June 22), with a range of engaging activities, lively performances, and thought-provoking discussions. Head to Central Park, 12-8pm, for an unforgettable day filled with joy, acceptance, and a vibrant sense of community.

The event is free and open to all, with the Rainbow Village Rainbow Village offering an array of stalls, exhibitions, and activities by local LGBTQIA+ organisations and businesses. You will also be able to connect with community members, discover resources, and learn about various initiatives dedicated to promoting LGBTQIA+ rights and supporting the community.

Festivalgoers will also be able to enjoy the Trans Area, Young Adults Area, Health and Wellbeing Areas, Safe Space, Sports Area, and Faith Area. The musical lineup on the day brings together 11 amazing headliners.

There will also be a Pride March On Saturday, starting at 11am from Plymouth Hoe. The full march map is here.

Organisers said: "This year we invite you to gather at the iconic Smeaton’s Tower on The Hoe where the Plymouth Pride March will commence at 11am. Join us as we march through Plymouth City Centre and ultimately gather for a Plymouth Pride Rally on the Piazza."
