A teenager who was reported missing almost a week ago has now been found, Northumbria Police have confirmed.

Police thanked the public for their support as they announced that the 14-year-old had been located safe and well.

Reuben was reported missing from the West Boldon, South Tyneside, on Monday (June 17). However, he was seen three days later on Thursday (June 20) at Fellgate Metro Station in Jarrow.

He had not returned home, and police and his family were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
