Police attempt to reunite £2m haul of property stolen by prolific crime gang with owners
A haul of stolen property worth a staggering £2 million by police as officers attempt to reunite the items with their owners.
Rolex watches, rare coins and jewellery are among the thousands of items revealed by detectives following the sentencing of a prolific crime gang in December.
Over a period of 11 months, the 12-man gang of extended family members also stole cars, guns, cash and war medals across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
Gang members, aged 20 to 55, masked their faces using balaclavas and smashed or forced open doors or windows in broad daylight.
The gang stole from rural homes and took high-performance cars, including BMWs and Audis, so they could outrun the police.

Items were then sold on through their list of contacts.
The gang, who committed over 200 burglaries, were sentenced to a total of 71 years in jail last month.
They were so prolific that the burglary rate in Norfolk halved after they were arrested in December 2017.
Detectives are now urging those who believe any of the items belong to them to get in touch with their details, including a crime number and proof of purchase or photographs.
