POLICE officers are investigating after a man was found with injuries in Bournemouth town centre.

The ambulance service called the police to Richmond Hill as paramedics treated a man with injuries in the area.

The injuries are not believed to be serious, although officers are investigating how he sustained the injuries.

Two ambulances and an ambulance service car, along with a police car, were seen outside the Norfolk Royal Hotel in Richmond Hill

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police received a report at 6.41am on Wednesday 26 June 2024 from the ambulance service, informing that they were treating a man with injuries in the area of Richmond Hill in Bournemouth.

“Officers have attended the area and are carrying out enquiries to establish how the man came to sustain the injuries, which are not believed to be serious at this time.”

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 06:38hrs on Wednesday 26 June to an incident in Bournemouth. We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and an operations officer to the scene of the incident."
