Police probe 'mass brawl' at Middlesbrough bus station

Police are carrying out enquiries after reports of a "mass brawl" at Middlesbrough bus station.

Pictures from the scene appear to show the disturbance taking place in the middle of the station bus parking area. The incident happened on the afternoon of Friday, June 14.

A witness at the scene said that it "started with two lads fighting, then loads more joined in". Those involved left the scene prior to police arrival.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "We received reports of an altercation at Middlesbrough bus station at around 3.40pm on Friday, June 14. Enquiries are currently ongoing. Anyone with information should contact us on 101."
