Police very 'worried' about missing teenage boy

Essex Police have said they are "worried" about a teenage boy who has gone missing. In an appeal to the public on Sunday (May 26) Essex Police said they were trying to locate Lee Smith, who is 15 years old.

Lee has gone missing from the Harwich area but also has links to the Southend and Colchester areas. Police said they were worried for Lee and that they wanted to find him to make sure he was ok. Anyone who knows of Lee's whereabouts is asked to get in touch with Essex Police by calling 101.

In their statement on Sunday, Essex Police described Lee as just under 6ft tall, with a slim build. He also has shaved hair and a scar on the left side of his head.

In a statement Essex Police said: "We’re appealing for information to find Lee Smith, who is missing from Harwich. Lee, 15, is described as just under 6ft in height, of slim build, with shaved hair and a scar on the left side of his head.

"He has links to the Southend and Colchester areas. We’re worried about him and need to find him to make sure he’s ok. If you’re with him or have any information as to his whereabouts, please get in touch by calling 101."
