Police want to speak to beanie hat-wearing shopper in connection with Birmingham burglary

Police want to speak to a beanie-hat-wearing shop customer in connection with a burglary in a Birmingham suburb. The reported break-in took place at a home in cul-de-sac, Rickyard Close, in Yardley on Saturday, March 16.

A burglar stole personal items including bank cards which were later used in a shop. Now West Midlands Police has issued a CCTV image of man officers would like to speak to in connection with the reported offence.

The man police would like to speak to is white, clean-shaven and pictured wearing a black beanie hat, and blue coat. He is pictured with a yellowy orange polo shirt underneath.

In issuing the CCTV appeal, a spokesperson for the force said: “Do you know who this is? We would like to speak with him after a house in Rickyard Close, Birmingham was burgled on 16 March.

“Personal items were stolen including bank cards, which were later used.
