Police Wrangle Wandering Alligator From Neighborhood in Georgia

A wandering alligator rode in the back seat of a police cruiser near Savannah, Georgia, on Thursday, May 23, after officers were alerted to its unwelcome visit to a local neighborhood.

Footage released by Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) shows officers restrain and remove the animal from a resident’s driveway in Georgetown on Thursday evening.
