Pop star Bebe Rexha and her fans slam trolls after she's branded 'tubby' on Instagram
Singer Bebe Rexha has defended herself against trolls who labelled her 'tubby' on social media.
Rexha had shared a picture of herself wearing black latex trousers while performing on stage in Cannes, France, writing: “Unapologetically me. 🖤 thank you for everything @spotify”
One commenter said: “You’re gaining a lot of weight tubby 💀”
Rexha wasted no time hitting back, saying: “To all the people tweeting mean things to me about my weight you just want a response and you will not get it.”
She added: “Unless you are completely perfect you have no f***** right to talk about anybody else’s body. The hate you breed that stems from Insecurity don’t look pretty on you.”

In another tweet, she continued: “I don’t give a two s**** about what people think about my weight. I care about what I think about my weight.”

Rexha is known for being outspoken when it comes to body positivity, which is in favour of.
On her Instagram, she has posted a paparazzi picture of herself that she hates, writing: “I F****** HATE this paparazzi pic of me, but you know what Im posting it cause it’s REAL. I was buying groceries to make chili and lottery tickets. Btw I won 25 bucks.”
In another Insta post, featuring Rexha wearing a bikini on a beach, she said: “I probably should of photoshopped my stomach and made it look flat. I probably should of photoshopped my legs to make them look thinner. I probably should of made myself look taller and Smoothed my legs. But I didn’t. Society can really f*** with you. Here is what a real woman looks like on Instagram without photoshop.”

Rexha then retweeted a supportive message from a fan account, with a picture of her dancing in the black leather trousers onstage, suggesting that she has no regrets about her outfit.

“Slay in Cannes,” the tweet says approvingly, and Rexha appears to agree.
Rexha’s fans had her back all through the incident, posting messages of support and calling her an inspiration.

Rexha, who was nominated for best new artist at the Grammys this year, had said in May that she would no longer responds to trolls, saying: “You can't beat hate with hate.”
She eventually called time on this particular incident, by saying: “Ok love you I’m gonna go cuddle my dog.”
