Powerful Storms Bring Tornadoes to Midwest

Powerful storms moved across the Upper Midwest on the evening of May 7, bringing strong winds, hail, and possible tornadoes to Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS confirmed tornadoes in Ohio and Indiana.

In Michigan, two suspected tornadoes destroyed homes and left dozens injured.
