Six of the Premier League's opening weekend fixtures will be broadcast live in the UK.

The full fixture list for the 2024/25 campaign was confirmed by the Premier League on Tuesday. The new season will kick off on the weekend of August 17-18, with teams across the league eager to start the year with a win.

The season will commence on Friday, August 16 when Manchester United entertain Fulham at Old Trafford. Sky Sports will air the match as part of their Friday Night Football coverage, with an 8pm kick-off.

The following day will see the return of the Saturday 12.30pm kick-off by TNT Sports, featuring Liverpool travelling to face Ipswich Town. The newly promoted club will host the Merseyside team at Portman Road in their first match since securing promotion to the Premier League, reports football.london.

Saturday evening will see West Ham United hosting Aston Villa at the London Stadium, with a 5.30pm kick-off. The match will be aired on Sky Sports.

Sunday, August 18 will feature two more Premier League matches on TV. Sky Sports will broadcast Brentford vs Crystal Palace with a 2pm kick-off, followed by Chelsea playing reigning champions Manchester City at Stamford Bridge in the 4.30pm kick-off.

The opening weekend of the Premier League will conclude with a Monday Night Football match on Sky Sports, featuring Leicester City, fresh off their Championship title win, taking on Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium.
