Prince Harry has been slammed online for his behaviour after a video clip appears to show him 'wipe his nose' on his fingers and shirt.

In a video from the Royal Salute Polo Challenge, the duke can be seen standing next to his wife Meghan Markle as he seems to wipe his face and nose with his fingers before then wiping them on his polo shirt.

The former royal couple attended the prestigious match alongside longtime pal and Argentinian polo player Nachos Figueras as Harry filmed his behind the scenes look at polo for Netflix.

However, it turns out that another film clip has attracted more attention as his 'nose wiping' has been shared widely on social media, the Mirror reports.

The clip which has done the rounds on X, formerly known as Twitter, has seen the 39-year-old come under fire for his nose wiping move.

One person wrote: "That nose rubbing/wiping it on your hand is so gross" while another remarked: "I would almost let the nose wipe go, as it is super high pollen season in Florida.

"But he wipes his hand on his shirt, his pants, and the guy to his rights shirt. There are camera crews everywhere, ask for a tissue man, or use the long draping tails of the big bow on Meg’s dress."

A third said: "He missed out on all the etiquette classes in the palace."

The couple are also believed to be discussing whether or not Meghan will accompany her husband when he returns to the UK next month for the Invictus Games' ten year anniversary.

Despite only ever returning to the UK on rare occasions, the former Suits actress is said to 'miss some aspects of the UK' but it will not be enough to make her return.

Meghan has not been back to Harry's home country since September 2022 when the late Queen Elizabeth II passed away.

In an interview with the Mirror, royal author and expert Tom Quinn said: "It will be a long time before Meghan reappears in the UK – she has already publicly stated that she will not return to the UK, and her friends insist she is still furious at the way she feels she was treated during her time in Britain."

He added: "On the other hand, we should always remember that phrase - ‘never say never,’ because it will come back to haunt you when you change your mind, especially if you are a public figure like Meghan.

"A friend of the couple – one of Meghan’s few aristocratic friends from her time in the UK - told me Meghan does miss some aspects of life in the UK and worries that her children will blame her if they never get to see their cousins and feel as adults that they have been deprived of what might have been a fun and meaningful existence in the UK as working royals."
