Prince Harry has reportedly had his way in a major decision regarding his and Meghan Markle's upcoming Netflix shows. The Duke of Sussex is said to have "won" against his wife in his decision to exclude their children, Archie and Lilibet, from appearing in the new series.

The news follows the announcement that the couple will be working on two shows with the streaming giant. It is thought to be a lucrative multi-million-dollar deal, reports the Mirror.

The first of the shows, a docuseries titled "Heart of Invictus", will be centred around the Invictus Games, a sporting event for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women that the Duke founded in 2014. The second show, meanwhile, is a cookery series set to "celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship", coinciding with Meghan's new brand American Riviera Orchard.

Despite the couple's extensive involvement in these upcoming Netflix ventures, it has been reported that their children will not be involved. This decision reportedly aligns with the couple's desire to keep their children out of the limelight as much as possible.

However, the decision to keep their children away from the two new Netflix series was not a suggestion from Meghan, but originated from Harry. The Duke of Sussex, who himself grew up in the public eye alongside his elder brother Prince William, is intent on protecting his children from excessive publicity.

An insider source confessed to the Sun on Sunday: "Harry and Meghan have not always agreed on how much they should expose their children to the media but, in this case, Harry has clearly won."

This revelation arises after prior reports suggested that Meghan desired to include the children while she returned to the spotlight. Last year, the Sun indicated: "Meghan wants to move back into public life - with Archie and Lilibet by her side."

According to insiders at the time, the couple do not always share the same parenting views. Harry's attitudes are thought to be significantly shaped by his own experiences in the limelight.
