Protesters Block Train Tracks in Tours on Day of French Strikes

Protesters blocked train tracks in Tours, France, on Thursday, March 23, as demonstrations and strikes against the government’s pension reform continued across the country.

Almost 10,000 people marched in the small city of Tours, local news reported, while hundreds of thousands were expected to turn out across the country.
