Public Workers Protest Macron's Labour Reforms With National Strike in France

Public sector workers marched in 130 demonstrations across France on October 10 to protest President Emmanuel Macron’s employment reforms, Le Monde reported.

The strikes were organized by the country’s nine major unions, including the CFDT, CGT, FO and Unsa, to protest Macron’s plans to cut 120,000 jobs in the public sector by 2022, freeze pay and change rules around sick pay.
