The Queen Is 'Jealous' Of Kate Middleton?!

A so-called "close friend" of Kate Middleton has claimed that the Queen is "jealous" of Kate Middleton's popularity and is doing everything in her power to remind her of where she came from.

Woah!

Kate Middleton shot to worldwide fame following her wedding to Prince William, becoming a fashion icon and an inspirational figure to young women everywhere.

But, if sources are to be believed (and we doubt they are!), Queen Elizabeth II isn't at all happy with Kate's sudden popularity. And she's had the Royal Household's Order Of Provedence altered to ensure that the fashionable royal knows her place.

According to new reports, the revision states that Kate MUST curtsey to the Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie every time she greets them, due to the fact that they are blood princesses.

However, if Kate is accompanied by William, she is excused from the humiliating knee bend.

It all sounds a little bit like something out of Disney's 'Cinderella', doesn't it? Remember how Cinders was forced by her stepmother to pay the utmost respect to her ugly stepsisters?

IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME THING! Minus the singing mice, glass slipper and excessive housework duties...

An alleged pal of Kate Middleton has explained to Life & Style that the new rule was imposed in order to remind the Prince William's wife of her position:

"These moves from the queen are designed to remind Kate that just because she's popular, she isn't as important as the queen or any other royal-born family member.”

So, in layman's terms: "Remember your place, peasant!"

Would Queen Liz really be so vindictive to the woman who helped British fashion and tourism sales rocket? To the wife of her grandson? To the (possibly) mother of her unborn great-grandchild?

We just... we just don't want to believe that this is true. It can't be true.

Whether the source is embellishing the truth or not, there's no denying one thing; Kate will ALWAYS be our favourite princess.
