Mexican officials urged drivers to be extremely careful after heavy rains from Storm Alberto partially washed out a roadway in Monterrey on Thursday, June 20.

Footage shows officials surveying the damaged express lane of Av Constitucion, near Venustiano Carranza.

Alberto made landfall as a tropical storm on Thursday before weakening to a tropical depression. The National Hurricane Center said all tropical storm warnings across Mexico were discontinued as of 10 am local time, but warned heavy rains and flash flooding could continue in northeastern areas.

One of the wolves got too close and the bear lunged at it as a warning. However, the wolf viewed it as an opportunity to potentially lure the bear away and began play bowing and bouncing around,” LaClair wrote on Instagram.“After a while, the grey wolf gave up and laid down nearby, waiting patiently for a piece of meat,” LaClair added. The storm was described by search and rescue as a once-in-150-years event, catching even experienced guides off guard.”Erickson said that the unexpected flash flood brought close to four inches of rain in just 20 minutes.
