Ram-Raid Burglars Smash Through Gold Coast Liquor Store

Detectives are investigating two potentially linked break-ins in Queensland that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, March 10, police said.

Surveillance footage shows a white Mitsubishi ASX backing into the front doors of a liquor store in Tallebudgera just past midnight on Tuesday morning. The car had been stolen from Latimers Crossing Road in Advancetown, the police said.

Video shows two men enter the store and leave with bottles of alcohol, exiting the parking lot and driving east towards Trees Road. The vehicle was later found abandoned off Junction Road, according to police.

Authorities are working to identify the two men, one of whom was wearing a Raiders hooded sweatshirt. Detectives are analyzing a possible link between this incident and a similar break-in at a store in Currumbin Waters the same night. Credit: Queensland Police Service via Storyful
