Season two of Prime Video's Reacher brought back a fan-favourite character in its latest episode.

Adapted from Lee Child's best-selling book series, Reacher stars Alan Ritchson as veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher.

Season one of the series was based on Child's 1997 novel Killing Floor, while the second season is based on his follow-up Bad Luck and Trouble.

While season two has seen Jack move on from the town of Margrave, Georgia, he hasn't left everyone behind.

Season two's fourth episode 'A Night at the Symphony' saw the return of Oscar Finlay, played by Malcolm Goodwin.

In the episode, Jack and his team need to get some information out of a law-making senator's aide. They come up with a plan to get the aide caught with drugs by a planted officer of the law.

Oscar ends up being the one who makes the arrest, taking the aide to be interrogated by Jack and David O'Donnell, portraying FBI agents.

After completing the plan, Oscar leaves but not before we find out that he is back working as a detective. We also learn that he's still looking after Jack, the dog that they rescued in season one.

Whether we'll see Oscar again remains to be seen, but Ritchson recently said he'd love to see the return of more season one characters, including Willa Fitzgerald's Roscoe Conklin.

Ritchson told Slash Film: "I would, for sure. I would be a huge fan of that. I think we should. I think we should at some point. They were just too good.

"We're building a world here, and although this is an anthology, to be able to remind the audience that this is a real journey that he's taken and there are some people that are still there, I think could be a lot of fun."

Reacher is available on Prime Video.
