Rebekah Vardy is set to share more of her side of the story in the Wagatha Christie case for a new tell-all interview.

The wife of footballer Jamie Vardy lost her recent defamation case at a libel trial against Coleen Rooney, but still has more to say on the matter to TalkTV on Wednesday in an interview titled Rebekah Vardy: Coleen and Me.

Mum-of-five Vardy, 40, was accused by Rooney, 36, of having leaked stories to the tabloids from her private Instagram account.

Rooney, married to Wayne Rooney, set up a sting operation dubbed Wagatha Christie to catch out whoever had been leaking information, tweeting the results which culminated in the now-infamous line "It's...Rebekah Vardy's account."

But Vardy has always denied having been behind the leaks, accusing members of her publicity team who had access to her social media accounts, and despite having lost the libel case in July she will talk about what happened to TalkTV's Kate McCann.

In clips from the interview, due to air at 7pm on Wednesday, Vardy is shown breaking down in tears as she recalls the stress of the accusations which came while she was pregnant with her fifth child.

She is also shown saying: "I will say that til I'm blue in the face, I did not do it."

Vardy adds: "I feel let down by a lot of people, a lot of things, but most importantly, I feel let down by the legal system."

During the trial at London's Royal Courts of Justice, a story also emerged about Vardy's early brush with fame before she became a footballer's wife, when she had spent the night with singer Peter Andre.

Afterwards, she had sold her story, labelling Andre's manhood a "mini chipolata" - which prompted him to speak out on the trauma he had suffered for years after the interview was published.

Much of the evidence about the leaked Rooney stories which related to WhatsApp messages between Vardy and her then-agent Caroline Watt was unavailable as Vardy's laptop had apparently broken and been thrown away, the messages had failed to download, and Watt's phone had fallen into the North Sea.
