This week’s Leicester Mercury death notices feature a wide array of touching tributes and moving words. The latest collection showcases young and old and looks back on the lives of dear friends and much-missed family members who have recently died.
In all, there are 21 notices in this latest collection from the recent days, weeks and months. The list includes a retired sociology lecturer at the University of Leicester.
Tributes have also been paid to a great-grandad of four and a man who died unexpectedly aged 65. Those listed are in alphabetical order.

Hello Dad, you was there for my first breath. I was placed in your arms and you made me safe and cared for me as any loving Father would and did. You made so many sacrifices for me many times.
